She has gone on to sell more than 200m records, scoop a succession of accolades, including  eight Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards and two BRIT Awards  to name a few.Her success is not limited to music and multi-million dollar endorsements. She  is a bona fide entrepreneur in beauty and leisure, and a co-owner of the streaming service  Tidal. She  is one of Earth’s  most followed, liked, shared, subscribed-to, and searched-for celebrities, with more than  81m  Facebook  likes, 62.2m  Twitter  followers, 40.6m  Instagram followers; and 21.8m  YouTube subscribers.Along with her undoubted pop talent and entrepreneurial skill, Rihanna’s  generosity is well documented. She supports and has founded organisations working to improve quality of life for communities all over the world, with a particular focus on children and people suffering from cancer and HIV/AIDS. In February 2008, she  was one of a handful of celebrities who helped designed clothing for the HM Fashion Against AIDS line. And in January  2014, she was  busy  working  with the  MAC Viva Glam campaign and MAC Aids Fund that works to address the link between poverty and HIV/AIDS and supports groups who provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS. Proceeds from the single were given to the charity, and the special is estimated to have raised more than $100m for cancer research. The singer also  donated $100,000 to emergency  food bank operations that were established in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.As well as assisting with such large-scale charitable initiatives, Rihanna is just as beloved by her fans for her attention to detail, and reaching out to and assisting  individuals coping with diseases and other debilitating cond itions.
